Consequences of the implementation of the Law on the Status of Foreign Agents in the Russian Federation
The project involved a comprehensive analysis of the international and internal context of the functioning of foreign agent status in Russia.
The uniqueness of the research project was determined by the research conducted by the IDI (Individual In-depthInterview) method in the environment of Russian activists, including those with foreign agent status, experts from the social environment of NGOs and foreign organisations operating in the space of the Russian Federation.
The project result ia in an interdisciplinary study of the state concept of third sector control and the practice of entities with foreign agent status in the Russian Federation. It was an attempt to provide a comprehensive account of the process changing the framework of the functioning of Russian civil society in the period 2012-2021.
