One of the aims of the Mieroszewski Centre is to run a scholarship programme.

The Mieroszewski Scholarship Programme

The Mieroszewski Centre is a state legal entity established by law and supervised by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland. Its main mission is to conduct and support activities aimed at the peoples of Eastern Europe. This mission is implemented in many different ways. One of them is the Scholarship Programme, which is addressed to particularly talented researchers who wish to develop on their chosen professional path and pursue objectives identical to the Centre's activities.

The addressees of the Mieroszewski Scholarship Programme are people from various professional backgrounds who would like to deepen their knowledge, gain experience in scientific work in Poland and contribute to strengthening Poland's relations with other countries.

The selection of those to be awarded a scholarship is made by a committee appointed for this purpose. Scholarships are awarded for a specific period of time - they can be obtained for a period of 1 or 3 months, 1 semester or an entire academic year, depending on the needs of the scholarship holder and the nature of their activities. During this time, each scholarship recipient will follow the scholarship programme they have established.
