Polish-Ukrainian Dialogue Forum
On 11 February 2024, the Polish-Ukrainian Dialogue Forum took place in Kyiv, of which the Mieroszewski Centre was a partner.
The Forum served as a platform for open and constructive discussions between Poland and Ukraine aimed at strengthening mutual relations and understanding the historical and contemporary challenges faced by both nations. In the face of Russian aggression, unity and international cooperation took on particular importance. The forum was divided into two key panel discussions:
- Unity of the peoples of Ukraine and Poland against the background of Russian aggression,
- Ukraine-Poland: from past misunderstandings to a common future.
The event was attended by politicians, historians and experts from both countries.
The event was organised by the Institute of International Security in cooperation with the I.F. Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The event was supported by the Mieroszewski Centre, highlighting its importance and multidisciplinary approach to the topics discussed.
Joining us in this important initiative was the aim not only to discuss current issues, but also to shape the future of Polish-Ukrainian relations on the basis of mutual respect, understanding and cooperation.
