Polish-Ukrainian history and its contemporary interpretations
The Mieroszewski Centre, together with the Ukrainian Free University (Ukrainische Freie Universität) and the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Munich, invite to a Polish-Ukrainian round table on "Polish-Ukrainian history and its contemporary interpretations".
The conference is a Polish-Ukrainian event dedicated to the development of the Polish-Ukrainian dialogue and to the implementation of plans for the development of the Polish-Ukrainian dialogue or actual and future stances. In the conference, we presented the most recent research and expertise from the field of politics.
During the conference four panels will be held:
- Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth: a common home?
- The afterlife of Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth: the long XIX century
- Colonialism and imperialism as metological instruments for the study of the history of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, Poland and Ukraine
- Quo vadimus? Ukraine and Poland in the 21st century
We hope that the lectures and discussions that will take place during the conference will provide material for the development of new textbooks on the history of both nations.
