The fifth study visit of Polish opinion leaders to Kyiv

Polish journalists specializing in culture are taking part in another study visit to Kyiv, aimed at deepening their understanding of Ukrainian artistic and cultural life during the war, as well as establishing direct contacts with members of the creative community.

The program includes meetings with representatives of cultural institutions, artists, and experts involved in the protection of cultural heritage. Participants have the opportunity to visit key cultural sites across the city and gain insight into how institutions operate under the conditions of an ongoing conflict. Particular emphasis is placed on discussions about the role of culture as a tool of resistance, identity-building, and international communication.

An important part of the program also consists of meetings with Ukrainian journalists and cultural managers, enabling an exchange of experiences and reflection on the challenges faced by cultural media in both countries. Discussions focus, among other things, on documenting wartime reality, supporting artists, and promoting Ukrainian culture abroad.

The visit allows participants to directly experience the realities of the cultural sector in Kyiv and to understand the crucial role it plays in sustaining the spirit of society. The knowledge and contacts gained serve as valuable support in their ongoing journalistic work, contributing to a more nuanced presentation of Ukrainian culture to Polish audiences.

The visit represents another step in building long-term cooperation between the media communities of Poland and Ukraine, with a particular focus on the cultural sector.
