One of the objectives of the Mieroszewski Centre's activities is to support projects that bring the history, culture and heritage of the peoples of Eastern Europe closer to the public. We pursue this goal through our grant programme called Open Competition.
Grants are available for both impressive, nationwide or even international events, as well as for local initiatives aimed at communities in a particular region. These can include a variety of initiatives such as cultural events, scientific projects, workshops, conferences, seminars, debates, publishing projects and study visits. The aim of the competition is to support the best projects that will give Polish audiences the opportunity to learn about the history, culture and heritage of countries such as Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus and Russia.
