  1. an employee or associate of academic, expert or analytical centers, having a documented track record of scientific and research activities and conducting or intending to conduct scientific and research activities within the scope of tasks carried out by the Centre;
  2. a person without a doctoral degree or equivalent, pursuing a doctoral program or having a documented record of achievements in the field of scientific and research activities and conducting or intending to conduct scientific and research activities within the scope of tasks carried out by the Centre.

The scholarship is open to scholars and researchers from: Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Russia.

The programme is addressed to those who conduct or intend to conduct research in Poland on the history, political situation, culture, and heritage of the peoples of Central and Eastern Europe within the scope of the statutory tasks of the Mieroszewski Centre.

The grantee has the opportunity to conduct research in Poland involving, for example, interviews, surveys, archival or library searches.

The scholarship is awarded for a period of one month.

ATTENTION! the requested scholarship period under the scholarship program must not begin earlier than 3 months from the date of submission of the scholarship application.

The stipend is paid in a one-time amount of PLN 6500.

  1. purchase of electronic equipment
  2. activities funded by other activities or by other entities

The call for applications is being conducted on a continuous process until funds are exhausted.

The scholarships are awarded by a Committee of Experts appointed by the Director of the Centre.
