Polihistor 2.0

Polihistor 2.0 is a series of video commentaries that should be familiar to anyone passionate about contemporary politics and the history of Central and Eastern Europe. The project is carried out by two different characters - Ernest Wyciszkiewicz, an experienced political scientist, and Bartek Gajos, a history expert. Despite their generational and professional differences, the programme hosts join forces to bring viewers closer to key issues concerning Central and Eastern Europe.

The aim of Polihistor 2.0 is primarily to analyse Poland's difficult and often complicated relations with its Eastern neighbours. Against the backdrop of the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war, the discussions take on particular importance, showing how the conflict affects security and politics in our region.

15 minutes on YouTube

Polihistor 2.0 is broadcast Monday to Friday at 18:00 on the Mieroszewski Centre's YouTube channel and on popular podcast platforms. Each episode lasts just 15 minutes, making it ideal for listening during a coffee break or on the go.

A special place in Polyhistor 2.0

One of the most important elements of the series is to celebrate the legacy of Juliusz Mieroszewski, one of the most prominent Polish political writers of the 20th century and a patron of the Centre. The episodes will include references to his works and views, which are still relevant in the context of contemporary events.
