The Mieroszewski Centre, together with the Promocyjna Gallery, the Old Town Cultural Centre, the Bielsko BWA Gallery and in partnership with SDK Słonecznik, has prepared the second instalment of the Polish-Ukrainian project Dear Future, a story of uncertainty about the future in the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine.

In January 2023, we had the opportunity to show 'Dear Future' for the first time in the public space of Warsaw, this time - under the curatorship of Yulia Krivivh and Anita Nemet - the exhibition moves to Bielsko-Biała, where the works of Polish and Ukrainian artists will be on display for the next few months at the local BWA art gallery. The exhibition 'Dear Future' is an attempt to deal with what is happening today. More than 500 days of war in Ukraine have shown us that we cannot talk about the future without pointing out that it remains dangerous for many.

The new exhibition, which has a gallery character, divides the exhibition into several categories.

The opening of the exhibition on 24 November at 6pm will be accompanied by a performance by Alicja Czyczel, whose practice combines elements of experimental choreography with environmental and feminist somatics. We would like to invite you to Galeria Bielska BWA (Villa Sixta).
