Conference Siberia and Poland
The aim of the conference "Siberia and Poland. Common Places in Literature and History", which will be held on 20-21 April 2023 in Bialystok, is to analyse the most relevant issues in Polish-Siberian relations over the centuries.
Participants will have the opportunity to share their insights on a wide range of issues concerning the history of Poles in Siberia.

- Polish-Siberian links in painting and music
- Siberia in egodocuments
- Polish researchers of Siberia
- Methodological problems in Polish-Siberian studies
- Adaptation of Poles in Siberia
- Identity and identification of migrants from the former Grand Duchy of Lithuania in Siberia
- Polish periodicals in Siberia
- The myth of Siberia and the exile
The conference will also be attended by members of the so-called Siberian Commission headed by Prof. Zbigniew Wójcik.
The conference is addressed to all those interested in the history of Poles in Siberia.
It is planned to publish a peer-reviewed monographic volume, prepared in accordance with current publication requirements.
